X3/X4 [Official] BMW X4 (G02)

The BMW X3 is an SUV manufactured by BMW since 2003, based on the BMW 3 Series platform. Now in its fourth generation, BMW markets the car as a Sports Activity Vehicle, the company's proprietary descriptor for its X-line luxury vehicles. The BMW X4 is a compact luxury crossover SUV manufactured by BMW since 2014. The X4 is widely considered as a "coupé" version of the X3, trading its practicality with a sloping rear roof which offers a sportier styling. BMW has indicated 2025 will be the X4's final model year.
Still ugly but at least this won’t make you blind as did the current X4. Big step forward, anyway I’m worry it’s not enough when the GLC update will be out.

But especially the silhouette suffers from that and actually looks less coupéish than the predecessor did.

I don't consider that a bad thing. The coupe-ness now looks less forced and more realistic for the size and purpose of the car.

If there's anything Land Rover has demonstrated, it's that a curved rear roof is not necessary to achieve a sleek and athletic look.

Lucky for them window tint and black pillars hides the third window. On the BMW this styling trick isn't possible.

Like the front, like the middle, like the back...though each of those bits do look a bit like they belong on different cars. I think this is where the GLC Coupe works a little better, though the BMW's stance and proportions are better.

Probably the 2nd best looking BMW SAC after the original X6.

Rear is disappointing, it feels a bit... empty and too heavy, but it's still the best part of this car. The front however, just as on the X3, is pure disaster. Interior looks quite nice, yet already a little outdated. Overall, very bad job by BMW. GLC Coupe looks way more attractive in this class, inside and out.

The Merc looks good, the BMW better in my opinion. Additionally, the X3/4's gets its own bespoke interior which is a plus too...

Merc looks good no doubt, but that interior is just horrible imo. Very, very ugly.

X4 looks great inside out. Like the interior more than the exterior actually.

If interior of X4 is outdated, then GLC interior is what...stone-age

Indeed, indeed. What an absolute playmobil disaster the GLC interior is!

Good job by BMW imo, but this thing will badly hurt the sales of the X6 until the new one arrives

Based on these pics, I would say the only are in which the GLC outshines the X4 is the rear end.

Overall, a pretty good effort by BMW. The interior looks a segment above the GLC and Q5.
I really think the rear of the X4 is it’s best feature....MB’s rear ends aren’t to my liking.

X4 M is going to be a sight to behold. I am pretty exited for that, and it’s due time for BMW to slaughter the competition in the niche they created themselves with a proper M car. This and the X3 M, which I will like even more.

The marketing should really be
"Bring it on Bitches!"
Maybe that will be the message for the X4M?:ROFLMAO:

Much better than its predecessor, the new slim lights theme is very promising and attention to details is finally back to a good level, still not my cup of tea though.

My thoughts exactly. The hype about the X3 interior is a thing I don’t understand since its was launched. It’s bloody boring and with some tacky details. The worst part is the angle of the center vents frame, with glossy or bright finish it’s so irritating when the light shines straight from above and they still can’t get rid of all the black plastic stuff that sits there in every colour configuration, the vents for example, they do the same even in 7er...
It’s a stuff that is touched pretty often and does not have any premium feel.
The headlights are too wide positioned, it makes the front look much wider than the rear, it gives the car pretty strange stance. Now the desperate move with Hofmeister Knick, already seen in the 6er GT, with every new gen. it’s going lost.

I encourage you to get inside the new X3 in your local dealer and see the interior for yourself. It is right there in terms of quality with our G30 5er.

Much much better than the terrible interior of the first gen X4.

While the first gen X4 interior looked dated, the interior quality was very high and on the same level as the F10 and firmly above the F30. It's good that the X3/X4 aren't SUV versions on the 3-Series.

Quirky ... ;)

You either have not sat in a new X3 or you have unreasonable expectations. I attended an X3 vs competitors test drive at my local dealer two weeks ago - I can point out exactly where the Q5 and GLC interiors fall short of the X3.
In the end it's down to personal taste and your - understandably subjective - views cannot be taken as established fact. Judged against its competitors BMW have done a wonderful job with X3/X4's cabin.
