The BMW M5 is a high-performance variant of the BMW 5 Series marketed under the BMW M sub-brand. M5 models have been produced for every generation of the 5 Series since 1984, with occasional gaps in production (1995 to 1998, 2023 to 2024). Official website: BMW M
I have seen a red X3M with black alloys. The spec works on the M5 and is great if you don't want a grey M5 to be mistaken for an M-Sport 520d.

The iconic DRLs are iconic for a reason, but it’s time to move on now.....I think the new one looks much better and modern with the new DRL....And finally the LCI G30 looks better than the F10.

Actually, I am more curious to know what they're going to change on the chassis or powertrain with the facelift than the look itself. I read in the Car comparison tests that BMW was offering only the competition package in UK - seems that they are on a path a something more radical then (though many magazines said the Competition had harsh suspensions... I think even the Germans said so - it's quite an extreme move).

But...but...but hexagonal DTRL look damn good on the M2 Competition. The M5 LCI looks a bit sleepy and tired like man who's been worn down by 4 children during lockdown.

But...but...but hexagonal DTRL look damn good on the M2 C...

They do work on the M2 and the new 2er and 8er, problem with the Pre 5er is that the headlights were too big and we saw the similar DRL(line+hex)in the F30 making it look outdated. There was little BMW could have done with the Hexagonal shape, they’ve done them all, time to move on, like the grills and the kink.

The new lights just makes the new car look fresh and more aggressive and as discussed before the light aren’t off current BMW DRLs.

Love the update, but BMW needs to fire the press department. Terrible color and pics for a reveal.

BMW M

BMW M GmbH, formerly known as BMW Motorsport GmbH, is a subsidiary of BMW AG that manufactures high-performance luxury cars. BMW M ("M" for "motorsport") was initially created to facilitate BMW's racing program, which was very successful in the 1960s and 1970s. As time passed, BMW M began to supplement BMW's vehicle portfolio with specially modified higher trim models, for which they are now most known by the general public. These M-badged cars traditionally include modified engines, transmissions, suspensions, interior trims, aerodynamics, and exterior modifications to set them apart from their counterparts. All M models are tested and tuned at BMW's private facility at the Nürburgring racing circuit in Germany.
