The only thing I see is more piano black around the radio and HVAC controls and a little bit on the door and that's it.

Meaning more cheap glossy plastic trim, it is definitely not a step forward.

The interior changes are piano black plastic around the HVAC controls and in a part of the door, instead of the mate plastic it had before. The AC now had white graphics instead of orange.

Quite a standard LCI. The design had not aged too much so it makes sense.

Can you spot the differences?
These are the first official pics depicting BMW's very subtle facelift for the 3-Series.

You will need a magnifying class to detect the styling changes as the mid-cycle refresh only brings some very minor cosmetic tweaks to the bumpers and lighting clusters which benefit from LED technology. This appears to be a new color for the 3-Series and chances are it's the Mediterranean Blue Metallic hue sourced from the 2-Series Active Tourer.

Stepping inside the cabin, it appears to be identical compared to the current model, but there are some minor changes such as the new climate control surround, chrome accents on the doors and side vent surrounds.

A more important change is the introduction of a 340i version (pictured) which is powered by a 3.0-liter inline-6 turbo developing 326 PS (240 kW). The new model will act as a replacement for the 335i which has 306 PS (225 kW).

Little details makes the exterior look right, it looks fresh, but the interior destroys it all. It would fit the E90 perfectly. Now only the exterior pretends to be in pair with the C-Class and upcoming A4, but still behind.

The most significant change in the interior is the adoption of a single piece surround panel for the HVAC+Audio instruments as opposed to the two-piece "trimmable" unit in the Pre-LCI:

Finally full LED tail lights Because with F30 they did step backward compared to E90 LCI, which already had full LEDs. Finally F30 owners will be able to replace tail lights with LCI's and their cars will look modern. Now only F32/F33 owners will have obsolete tail lights

Are you sure? I see only that they use now piano paint. But when I increase the LCI pic I believe to recognize a seam like at the pre-LCI panel.

No it's one piece now, the part below still has that awkward seam. And you cannot even open that part.

BTW, the pics of the PRE LCI posted by Martin are old; the inner part of the HVAC controls already was glossy since a year and a half or so.
Pictured here is a (non LCI) M4 coupe, but the regular 3er has had this too since a while:
