Yup, even that vertical flap is leather now, lovely.
However, the trim around the gear lever still leaves to be desired. Pretty barren.

Am I the only one, for whom it's something to get used to: BMW 330i with 4 (!) cylinder engine?

No it's one piece now, the part below still has that awkward seam. And you cannot even open that part.

BTW, the pics of the PRE LCI posted by Martin are old; the inner part of the HVAC controls already was glossy since a year and a half or so.
Pictured here is a (non LCI) M4 coupe, but the regular 3er has had this too since a while:

No, I don't think that the glossy panel insert came with the Pre-LCI F30 as standard. I think you needed to buy an M or Individual car and spec accordingly. The matt black panel insert remained throughout the Pre-LCI's lifespan.

You're right, I made a mistake. The 4er comes with that, I simply assumed the 3er got it as well because it features the exact same unit.

The 3er LCI HVAC unit looks by far the best now, though.

Automatic throttle-blipping on downchanges for the 6 speed manual versions.

320d and 320i models now get twin-outlets from the single exhaust silencer.

330i only 5 Kw up on 328i with 185 kW now. Torque unchanged at 350 Nm.

This car will beat the NEW C class in 9 out of 10 tests to come.

Also, it might sound nice and all but G30 = 5 series. So the F30 will have a much easier time when the next gen 5er arrives? Ok....
