3 Series Official: BMW 328 Hommage Concept

The BMW 3 series is a line of compact executive cars manufactured by BMW since May 1975. It is the successor to the 02 series. Since 2013, coupé and convertible models have been marketed as the 4 Series. The M version of the 3 series, the M3, debuted with the E30 M3 in 1986.
I think it's GREAT! A classic made with space age materials and a unique design:usa7uh:

The photography is outstanding!:t-cheers:

Aren't you old enough to not just look at pics?

Honestly, I didn't care about the car enough to read the press release...But considering EnI already posted a response that answered my question, it renders your post useless. Nice try though.

The "X" is to prevent complete breakage if a stone or something smashes the glass the tape keeps it secure and prevents it falling on the road or track ahead of other cars.

Another Video and this time you can see that the car is powered by a combustion engine instead of being a hybrid.
The engine is a six cylinder Twin Power Turbo.

The engine that's gonna be implanted in the next M3... I guess ;):D
We need a video with sound now :t-cheers:

We should send a petition to Christopher Nolan asking him to feature this as the new Batmobile in The Dark Knight Rises.

Well fair enough. I don't read the press release of a car I don't care about :) But then again, I don't go ask questions about a car I don't care about either ;)
Either way, I wasn't 'trying' anything.

And the 238 Hommage is a work of art. I really dig it after a few days and proper pics. It's better than the Connected Drive concept, and I can't wait for Bimmers with headlights and grille similar to this one...it would be a more radical change than the Bangle revolution, even.

What I would like to see is a hommeage that give us a hint about the new Z8 design. The Conncected Drive and the 328 just look so far from production.

^^ That's something we really can't see I think. I mean, the Vision Efficient Dynamics looks more radical than both, yet it's going to be the base for i8...
I actually think the 328 looks fairly production ready, with a full interior and I6 twin turbo instead of some lightning bolt...

BMW is doing just fine with the designs they have now. From the flawless 5 series to the magnificent 7 series. I would hate for them to ever put those head lights and especially that "beaver" grill on any future design. BMW enthusiasts might go for it, but I don't see it bring in any new customers.

Funny think is, if you take away the grill and headlights the car would look perfect. IMO.

The connecteddrive was much better looking to me...

The front end looks like it's from an old Alfa, and that can't be a bad thing!

OMG!

I'm totallly in love with this car! It's in every piece a pure perfection!

BMW, PLEASE USE THE VERTICAL KIDNEYS AGAIN!!!

I would really consider a Bimmer with that style of grill. Some of the current ones are lacking in character IMO.
