A6/S6/RS6 [Official] Audi RS6 Avant

"For example, it is the first Audi to use carbonfibre for the bonnet and wings and also employs this material on its wheels.

Michl said: “We wanted to showcase [new materials] because carbonfibre is one of the basics in racing and the reduction of unsprung masses is always an aim. So with that, we just wanted to show how we could even improve a car with several attachments and make technology visible."

Sick.

It's got carbon fibre "things", though I'm not expecting a huge weight loss.

The weight loss is probably 20-30kg which is equivalent to going for a drive without your 6 year old child. Hahaha

For perspective on how overpriced the car is considering that absence of drivetrain upgrades consider the below car. It’s a 2023 RS6 for sale with only 10 miles for £100k. The RS6 GT cost £176k in the UK. That’s a 76% premium just for coilovers. Furthermore audi will likely launch an RS6 competition or similar in 6 months which will be as good if not better but for less money.

Audi

Audi AG is a German automotive manufacturer of luxury vehicles headquartered in Ingolstadt, Bavaria, Germany. A subsidiary of the Volkswagen Group, the company’s origins date back to the early 20th century and the initial enterprises (Horch and the Audiwerke) founded by engineer August Horch (1868–1951). Two other manufacturers (DKW and Wanderer) also contributed to the foundation of Auto Union in 1932. The modern Audi era began in the 1960s, when Volkswagen acquired Auto Union from Daimler-Benz, and merged it with NSU Motorenwerke in 1969.
