I drove the RSQ8 last week, impressive car! Handles like a sports car and was comfortable on 23 inch wheels. Now my mind is messed and don't know if I should get this over RRS P460.

Which model year is that? Is it the newest model? How does it compare against a Urus?

The RSQ8 was a 2021 model with ceramic brakes, dynamic anti roll bars, etc
One thing I didn't like was the gearbox lag in comfort mode, takes too long to shift down when you floor it.

I've never drove the Urus but I assume it has more engine noise and stiffness since the RSQ8 is comfortable very quiet a low speeds.

I think the RSQ8 had less wind noise than RRS but more road noise due the very low tire profile I guess.

The RS8 is famous for being very comfortable and quiet. On the used market it's astonishing value for money It's too the extent that might make you question whether it's worth spending100% on a Bentey just for nicer leather.

Jackle and Hyde personality of the RSQ8 is brilliant. Almost like two cars in one. Depending on who you are, this could be a bad thing. The car could feel too ordinary in comfort mode whilst being too aggressive and stabby/jerky in Sport+. As a result you might flick between modes too often and never be 100% happy.

There the Urus differs is that even in Corsa mode it offers a bit of spice whilst remaining comfortable. This is important if you often have passangers as they will unlikely appreciate the aggressive throttle response of sport+ mode.

Indeed it felt like a normal Q8 at first because its smooth, doesn't make noise and not many badges inside. Then I put it on dynamic and the engine woke up. The heads up display is badass in RS mode, shows the rpm, oil temp, power...

I'm excited I experienced the RSQ8 and I might get it instead of the hybrid RRS.

It’s a brilliant car and I am considering one for scratching my V8 itch. Looking forward to catching up on reviews of the facelift.
My big hopes is that the gap between it and the urus is bridged a bit in steering directness, gearbox software and exhaust noise.
This is how I would want my rsq8 to look like. I screenshot this 3 months ago when I was researching the car.

It's a damn good looking sports SUV. The design is unconventional in the sense that it's butch without being bulky, and neither is it shaped like an egg like other sports SUVs.

It's great thet Audi can enhance the model without worrying about stepping on the toes of the Urus.

Audi

Audi AG is a German automotive manufacturer of luxury vehicles headquartered in Ingolstadt, Bavaria, Germany. A subsidiary of the Volkswagen Group, the company’s origins date back to the early 20th century and the initial enterprises (Horch and the Audiwerke) founded by engineer August Horch (1868–1951). Two other manufacturers (DKW and Wanderer) also contributed to the foundation of Auto Union in 1932. The modern Audi era began in the 1960s, when Volkswagen acquired Auto Union from Daimler-Benz, and merged it with NSU Motorenwerke in 1969.
