The Q7 is one of VAGs greatest product. In the SQ7 you get the suspension, comfort and tech of the Urus and Bentyga for half the money.

The 3rd row is a nice bonus in a body that doesn't scream "people hauler".

I dont like the new, tall, boxy shape it has, and the copy pasted rear from the A6 and Q3. I bet the interior will be 99% of the A6 and the rest. Its a disgrace what Audi is doing recently.

The tall boxy shape will benefit third row occupants. Unless Audi will launch a Q9, the Q7 will benefit from growing a bit to be roomy like the X7 and GLS.

There will be a Q9, same design, slightly longer, with the biggest difference being the rear numberplate placement - in the bumper instead of the boot.

now you mention it, looking from the back doors backwards... could be mistaken for a X5 successor.

The proportions are weird because from the middle back, and from the middle to the front looks like two different car segments. Like a Audi A8 from the middle going foreward and a4 going from the middle to the back.
