A3/S3/RS3 [Official] Audi A3 Sportback

Looks more like a facelift than a new vehicle. Previous gen front lights were much better.

The exterior seems quite boring, maybe it is one of those that is appreciated over time and seeing them IRL, the interior will also take time to decipher

I honestly think it looks better than I expected it to be after seeing the covered up pre production version which looked pretty crap but this looks sharp and classy. It's a better looking car than the awkward 1 series and gives the A-class something to think about

The exterior of the A-Class is the best in the segment. A low, shark like nose is something that you rarely see on entry level cars.

I also find it exceptionally sharp. I much prefer it to the CLA. In fact, I find it the most cohesively designed M-B sedan of all-and that despite its' FWD proportions. Very crisp, modern with just the right amount of tension.

It's the automotive equivalent of a blue or grey wool scarf. Boring but premium and projects the right message about the owner.

Both are as bad. The A-Class is the hatchback that's most pleasing to the eyes.

I do think the new A3 looks good in this standard spec. The headlights perhaps are not perfect in shape, but its much better than the 1 series. Interested to see first comparison tests, my guess its going to give the Golf 8 a close run.

A job well done by M-B designers. The A-Class hatch as well as sedan are well executed. For me (and solely based on the visuals), a tough choice between the new A3 and the A-Class.

The interior of the new A3 is very sharp and angular. You can notice this with the armrest and grabhandles on the doors and also the dash has many sharp/angular surface changes. The interplay of different types of materials has me wondering whether this is as well built as the previous model or not.

This shot shows how the center screen and vents are angled away from the driver towards the windscreen. It will maybe require someone to move their torse forward to touch the screen.
