Wow, the whining and bitching from the resident value police is deafening in here. If only they were this shrill in decrying BMW and Lexus as corporate blood suckers in the GTS and LFA threads... what a bunch of sock chucking hypocrates...

I suppose they have used up all their material to justify the production of the Audi Quattro concept, which the VAG board ultimately couldn't, but hey what do they know.

Back to the car, it is a cool, I suppose it could be a good daily driver for those who has a range of exotics parked inside their garage. Do you fancy to upgrade your A1 to this Betty? It goes well with your R8 V10.

It does look very good but I think I'm going to go for something like a new 120d or 320d as my next purchase. Couldn't justify an R8 and this in the same garage.

Just taken my R8 to the dealer in Eindhoven and they have one of these in the showroom for sale. Brand new and unsold. Naturally I have someone calculating some figures for me......

I really must stop taking my cars to get serviced there. The last time I went I bought my A1 1.2.

I'm still waiting for the dealer to get back to me with regards to the "price" and any kind of finance deal. I suspect it's going to be too much. It's listed as €65,000. That's an awful lot of money. You can get some serious bits of kit for LESS than that. BMW M135i. Audi S3. If I go to the UK and get a nearly new car (a few thousand miles and barely run in examples), which I am able to do, then we're talking about the likes of M3s, Porsche Caymans. Hell, you can even get a barely used F10 M5 for the same amount of money. See.....

I know the A1 Quattro is very rare. Only 333 ever made and only 5 ever imported into Holland, but still...........

One A1 Quattro is for sale in my country (Finland), but damn, it's very expensive. But if I have a lot of money, sure I'll going to buy that little sexy machine.

Well, the avarage guy will not know what this A1 Quattro really is and how rare it is. It its value will not be visible to everyone. Anyway, such cars, price is not discussed whether you can "just afford" it or have "spare money". It just is a question of "Do you want it that badly that you can't live without it?"
