The car in this photo is not the new DB11 and looks different from the current vantage. Could it be a glimpse of the new vantage?

That's the only part of the exterior that still looks odd to my eyes, but as an overall package, there's absolutely no denying this thing is an absolute lookerControversial arches aside - I think this is a gorgeous, gorgeous thing...
They need to fix that messy "floating" C pillar and the unfinished looking lower front air intake.Controversial arches aside - I think this is a gorgeous, gorgeous thing...

Instead, you have a Merc C-Class key wrapped in leatherThe interior design screams 2007, but a high level craftsmanship is evident. Long gone are the days of Volvo keys wrapped in leather.
Ah Jimmy-san (not that you're Japanese or anything - it just sounds cool) you warm the cockles of my heart.I am actually beginning to warm to the DB 11.
True, they have struck the right balance in between....Not too conservative, yet not too radical either...100% Aston Martin...PerfectAh Jimmy-san (not that you're Japanese or anything - it just sounds cool) you warm the cockles of my heart.
Look, I'm no Aston Martin zealot; I like some of their cars and am ambivalent toward others in the range. But for me - interior foibles aside - there's something charmingly progressive about the DB 11 given how impossible it seemed to be able to take Aston Martin's traditional, beautiful design language forward. They faced a catch-22 scenario of how to balance beauty and progression:
I feel that the DB 11 is the manifestation of this dilemma and - barring just a few polarising details - succeeds in its brief to usher in a new era of Aston Martin styling.
- Make it too conservatively pretty in the familiar vein of design and face criticism of being stuck in the rut of the familiar idiom.
- Employ too radical an approach in design and run the risk of losing an essential attribute where exquisite styling is synonymous with the brand and its value proposition.
It's brave - and that's precisely why I like it so much.
What do you mean? Don't all wipers work the same? Except some differences a la Mercedes Benz.Wipers operation is a deal breaker for me. This is not a mini van.
