That one is 66,500 CHF. IMO, it's a very attractive price when you know what's included.

While I find it a smidge more appealing than an X3 or Q5, it looks like it's smaller than either one.

Umm...

... How to sum this up? I suffer from partial colour blindness. From an early age it's been both comical and frustrating that people cannot grasp what it's like to look at the exact same thing as them, and yet see it so different, on such a basic level.

It's the same with me an Alfa Romeos. I am so unable to see what so many other people see in Alfas, that I think there must be some other receptors in my eyes that are missing... because I honestly can't see what the fuss is about... it's about as interesting a design as a Seat Alhambra, and if I stare it for long enough I can see nothing other than a suspicious owl... in this case, a bloated one.

I think I get what you're saying. In a way, the Stelvio (and Giulia for that matter) are more generic designs with Alfa-specific bits adhered to it. A big part of the appeal as an American is that Alfas have been forbidden fruit for over 20 years. Now we get to get a bite of that forbidden fruit even though it's been bred with some less exotic bits. Despite being a sort of a mutt, it's still decidedly Italian and nice break from the German homogeneity. Don't get me wrong, I like the German cars, but it's becoming a bit boring. It'd be nice to get something Italian that's attainable and respectable as at one end of the price spectrum the 500 and other FIATs are kinda crap and way on the otherside of the price spectrum you have Ferrari, Maser, and Lambo.
