That Jam is still Pumpin’.

It’s the perfect way to update. Especially with newer sister models. The whole update is a universal approach to MINI and this particular model to not have it as a dead product in light of its electric brethren. The only conflict now will be Electric? Or an ICE MINI.
I expect this approach will be used on the next 3er in light of the new-Klasse. Similar styling and a major overhaul without alienating the iCE customer. Bravo.
Very nice commercial, entertaining and spreads energy and sympathy.
You're right, it encompasses the brand as a whole.

Cooper s doesn't look as dynamic as before. like an ordinary hb.

I don’t like it neither, now it looks like a soft eco-car. I always liked the Cooper S with its double exhaust pipes and air intake (fake or not) in the hood. I hope it drives like before, but the looks are wrong for me.

I mean. Why must it look excactly as the bland electric version. Let us enjoy the wonderful exhaust pipes a little more - as long as we still have ICE cars. In the future we will miss when the cars had exhaust pipes.
Offer them as optional!!, within the "polluting package", I would be happy to pay for it

The central exhaust and hood scoop are iconic elements of the modern MINI. I can remember the covers coming off the Cooper S in Tokyo 2001 and everyone going wild. An Electric Blue Cooper S one customer with high mileage for a couple of thousand Euro sounds almighty tempting.

BMW Blog and Motoringfile. US tariffs on Chinese EV vehicles are the reason. So until they get EV production up in Oxford, we wait in the US. Same reason that we are delayed in receiving the Aceman.
Yeah, the tariffs are a mess. They're the only reason I'm still considering EVs.

MINI

Mini (stylized as MINI) is a British automotive brand founded in 1969, owned by German BMW since 2000, and used by them for a range of small cars assembled in the United Kingdom, Austria, and the Netherlands. The word Mini has been used in car model names since 1959, and in 1969 it became a brand in its own right when the name "Mini" replaced the separate "Austin Mini" and "Morris Mini" car model names.
