...not so sure about that. I would consider the B6/B7 Audi A4 as having been a far better car than the M-B W203 C-Class, and that especially pertaining to the quite horrid pre-MOPF models. Notorious rustbuckets with woefully sub-par interior quality. Of course, the E46 BMW 3er was a stellar car and arguably a match, if not superior, to its' Audi competitor.

Since you mentioned it, I thought the same when I bought mine, I wanted a used one (almost like new) and it was between the e60 and this one, I just had to sit inside and the difference was abysmal, the interior (cream / white) of the Audi was on another level.
I put the latest 20" RS6 wheels and enjoy an incredibly well built car, it is better than you can imagine

The interior design and fit and finish of that generation of Audis were truly excellent. No wonder some of the buttons and switch gear were good enough to be put inside Lamborghinis.

Exactly, one of the most over engineered cars I have ever known, each internal and external piece were jewels, rock solid, extremely luxurious and advanced, with all the technological toys and options you could wish for, leather, aluminum, wood

The exterior dimensions are very close to those of the B5 Audi A4.

Damn, I always frackin' hit 4 instead of 5. But yeah, like I said, it looks quite similar in size. Which is pretty neat as that A4 I had was a fun car.

Audi followed up the C6 with the brilliant C7, in Avant form it’s still the best looking wagon ever IMO.
