Q: Please do enlighten me, what in-short is the reason for two faces?
Why I ask is, the U.S. consumer will not be offended with the EU version.
Maybe some US members could shed some light. @HighestOfHigh Ben?
Lol...I wish I knew. Could be the different regulations or just what they feel will better appeal to that particular market place.
Funny thing is I use to sell Toyotas a while back and from what I've seen most Corolla customers could care less about looks. They are more concern with it being dependable and affordable.
Thanks HoH. Same thing here in SA, Toyota Hilux and Fortuner is selling like the F150 in the US here. And people here also could care less about looks, Toyota is a religion about reliability and resale. I guess all over the world then.![]()
Sadly I will be very critical of this new Corolla.
1. Looks: Seriously? I can get that they want it to look politically correct. Even boring. It's the target group and this tactic is both understandable and respectable. But why on earth do they have to make it so weird? It looks bad to me. It's too weird to be a Corolla. Mess!
2. Interior: I can't believe that in 2013 Toyota can't produce an interior that doesn't scream cheap so much. Seriously, this is not ok!
And when will they get rid of this stupid digital clock? It's there since 1980 and it's crap ever since!
I don't understand Toyota's latest design language. Either their designs are seriously bad, or I fail to get something. I'm seriously let down by a brand I used to respect!
I will be very critical of this new Corolla.
LOL, easy, just because it is a Toyota. If I did the same about any German car, I get flamed.
They say: "Do not loose what made you strong in the past" Lesson in TIME...digital clock![]()
Saved by mini cooper4Corrected it, sshhh do not tell Betty! I could loose cred here.
