The Lexus, with its Land Cruiser genes is still an extraordinarily capable and rugged off-roader. It's a fantastic luxury SUV for down here...

Well, while I would have to drive these cars, I'm sitting inside and don't see the exterior. So I voted for the car with the best looking interior – and thatÄs the Infiniti:

Lexus is ugly - to much plastic styling:

Lincoln - come on, they want to make this car look retro or what?

Cadillac - improvement over the last generation, but not a fan of this american style:

They're all ugly in some way, but I think the lesser evil is the Lexus LX570. The Lincoln Navigator doesn't look bad either, but that's about all I know about the car. The Infiniti QX is ugly as sin and the Escalade? Never cared much for it.

I actually prefer its Toyota counterpart, which IMO looks better than the Lexus version.

I'm with a lot of you guys on this. I have to go with the Infiniti. There is something about its look that makes me hate it and love it at the same time, so it's quite unique. I will never pay the premium for the Lexus over its Land Cruiser brother and the Navigator hasn't been "cool" since the late 90s. The Escalade, while a great SUV, is SO played out that it's just not even funny. I have like 4 of those in my neighborhood, fully loaded and one is the ESV model or something.

Oh my GAWD! All these cars are FUGLY! However, as I can't help but to vote for stuff; I vote lexus

Never has a smiley been so appropriate...

Hahahahahahahaha

Is the Caddy trying to be retro?! Those dials look absolutely shite! How does a designer get away with that type of crap during the presentation? If I were head of Caddy design I'd have him thrown out and yelled 'YOU WILL NEVER WORK IN THIS TOWN AGAIN!'

:t-wild:

You're propably talking about the Lincoln's interior. It's one of those things that's just so bad it's good in the way of being funny.

BTW is the wheel just set absurdly low or isn't the driver supposed to see straight ahead. Crazy thing anyhow.

Non of them, though the Lexus a.k.a Land Cruiser VX reigns supreme;)

Wonder where is Sayyaaf? UAE is LX570/VX Country....hope he is not the late Sheikh from Abu Dhabi that lately went missing and....:D

I understand that a lot of you could care less about this category. If it’s not a 3 series or smaller, you won’t even look in its direction. Thankfully the automobile industry realizes that they must make cars for different people. These size vehicles are very useful to large families and great for family vacations. Personally, I love huge SUVs…I just don’t care for the gas mileage.

The Lincoln Navigator has always been my favorite large SUV of choice. I got a chance to drive the first model and loved it. It had a very quiet and smooth drive. Other then the Land Rover the Navigator pretty much started the full-size SUV boom. It was a huge seller for Lincoln when it came out. Cadillac watched them carefully, which is why the Escalade was birthed. I will give Cadillac some credit though. Their first model was no more then a rebadged GM truck (Seriously). Now they have really defined the Cadillac to look way more exclusive.

The Lexus has been around for years, but never really got my attention. Especially considering it’s price compared to the similar equipped Toyota LandCruiser, which I actually sold at one point. I did like the look of the old Lexus LX, but the new one like the LandCruiser looks too bubbly.

The Infiniti is truly outstanding. It has such a powerful stance and inviting interior that looks very welcoming. It is FAR better then the previous model, which looked rather tacky from certain angles.

So when it comes down to it, I would say it is between the Lincoln and Infiniti. Even though I adore the Navigator, I do not like the interior styling at all. I would prefer the older models interior in a heart beat. I wish they would upgrade it with the MKS interior at least. Another issue I have had with the navigator is its lack of power. Lincoln seems to be a stand still in that department. So in the end Infiniti wins, but I still have love for the Lincoln.

IMO they're just for people who feel more secure in a bigger piece of metal, in other words the ball-less men and women.

Not really. Some people buy them because they actually need something that large. Yes, some do buy them for show and tell and the “Look at me, I can crush you” factor. I would hardly say that people that have these types of vehicles are ball-less.

Hey Human, don't remind me that was a sad day in UAE's history, that sheikh is such a humble and low profile guy. RIP

Lexus or Infinti, I can't really decided both are excellent cars. The lexus has the edge have the hydraulic suspension, but the infiniti (or Nissan patrol) is really capable from the launch videos, and seem faster on road too.

I think I will go with the Nissan/Infiniti, it is a better package at lower price.

Street race: New Nissan Patrol (Infiniti Qx56 twin bro) Vs Lx570. Please lower the sound due to the stupid music.

Oh Jeez! Yeah, I meant the Lincoln! Man I feel like Homer Simpson... :eusa_doh:

Hey Sayyaaf, sorry if I sounded disrespectful - not meant to be and it's my understanding that the late HRH was one of the sons of the late Sheikh Zayed? (himself the 'Nelson Mandela' of the UAE) RIP both of their HRH'es.

Glad to hear from you and thanks for the vid:usa7uh:

PS: I have 'respect' for the VX...only one we get in the RSA.

No worries bro, I know you didn't mean to :)

the VX is good , but which engine you get in RSA ?

We have the 4.0/4.7 Gasoline and one Desiel (not sure which one)

All are underpowered

Well said. For some reason the LX comes of more doppy looking compared to the QX.
