2014 Porsche Panamera S (Non Hybrid) vs 2014 BMW M6 GC

I am in the market for a CPO vehicle and have narrowed it down to 2 sedans. The Pana S (non-hybrid, turbo 6 - 420hp) and M6 Grand Coupe (4.4L turbo 8, 560hp). I have had 2 Porsche's in the past and have enjoyed them tremendously. This will be my wives daily driver and will be getting about 15k miles/ year. they are both 23-26k miles and 63-66k asking price. Both have about 2 years left on their CPO warranties. The Pana is in my preferred color. I haven't owned a BMW in 15 years. It seems the BMW depreciates much faster. I could aso get a 650 GC, that would be a closer comparison to the Pana S, but can't find the right one for sale. My wife is very picky on color. Any advise?

At this level, both cars are lovely. The options on either cars are likely to make the biggest difference e.g which reverse camera/surround view, premium sound, adaptive suspension, ventilated, sunroof, full leather.

It's worth noting that the Porsche has better backseat headroom, but if she will rarely carry passengers, it shouldn't be a deciding factor.

Time to get back on the BMW train again buddy. There is absolutely NO comparison between the cars mentioned, the BMW is so much better and faster.

Not to mention the Panny looks like a whale.

If it's for your wife, 15,000 miles/year and you want to keep her happy? Take the Porsche. The M6 GC has a rather hard suspension, hardly any comfort at all. She'll get a terrible pain in the back. Besides from that, Porsche's value will be much more stable, the M6 GC depreciates like there's no tomorrow.
