There seems to be like 5 new UK cars of this sort coming out every year. Lightweight, analogue, simple, manufactured in miniscule numbers. And that's great, but at the same time you can't help but think that they are that way only because that's the only thing their creators can afford to make. This car looks pretty much like a poster child for those sorts of cars. No windscreen, no airbags, no heating, not enough space for two occupants, just a really bare bones sportscar, but with a £200k price tag. A very niche car is the best thing I can say about it. Amusingly - as Nichols and Murray are having a beef at the moment - if you wanted a lightweight drivers car with no amenities and retro styling, you'd probably be better getting the LCC Rocket, which still costs only about £100k and is even more basic and lightweight and probably more fun to drive. Alternatively, get a Caterham R500. At least that's a proven car and will only cost you £50k!

Cheapskate! Those ‘cars’ don’t compare to the N1a. It is a 1960’s race replica, with McLaren pedigree (sort of), huge v8 power & some input from Steve Nichols himself so should handle well. It fitted Jay Emm in so ample room.. & is a prototype in development & is good looking. Sell your house & buy one
