I thought they looked like leaked official photographs they are that good. That first one looks 99.9% spot on.

Just wait for the official pics and PLEASE compare them to this one afterwards. This CGI here looks like a cartoon.

Yes, that's exactly what I thought. This surely is as close to the real deal as one can get.

So, in the end, new BMW X3 revealed. And what a poor reveal it ended up being. Backfire?

Edit, so I went to have another look and I am personally of the firm belief that this is not close to the new X3. It is the new X3. Too much specific detailing imo...

Nope, the grille is not 100% like that one and the side indicators are located in a different place.

As for those 2 chops.. mighty impressive to say the least! If the real deal ends up having the same stance and proportions and overall aggressive attitude, then by-golly does BMW have a winner!

Initially I thought it was the official pictures, or someone has drawn over them as I think the Media department will be in the process of sending out the pictures to the many media establishments.

Bar a few minor detail changes... This is the new X3.
Since it has been practically spotted and undressed in the past few weeks alone You have enough evidence to make up your minds.

I think you will see a difference from the many renderings when you see the X3 in it's twin launch specifications - xDrive35i and xDrive20d in their respective Vermillion Red and Mineral Silver paintwork, although there are other launch models and differing color options too.

After the 5er this is BMW's most important new model in 2010.
I think it will be a success due to it's mini-X5 aura and persona.
For the time the press drives we will introduce more photographs and you will see the X family with the new X3 and you will see how all X models compliment each other but are in no way one form split into three size's.
They have their own unique appearance and character all equally sporty , but show elements of youth - The X1 , maturity the X5 and the X3? judge for yourselves.

Knowing it's a chop is one thing. But saying it's so bad that it's a "cartoon" is complete exaggeration, which is my point about Klier.

Anyway, I think I better stop now.

You should know by know that I make wild exaggerations all the time, but the base of it always is the truth
