New Volvo S80

I don't think Volvo's midsize sedan needs to be cheated yet another name change after two generations(excluding the current S60) when both the S80 and S40 have maintained their names for a new generation. I think in all honesty that they should either ax the S40 and replace it w/ the C30 hatch(make five door become available), and keep the midsize sedan in the mix w/ it's name still intact. It's imperative that Volvo have a midsize sedan on offer.

I just came home for the gym and a few meters from there a Volvo S80(?) testmule passed me driving in the opposite direction. Somehow I think that Volvo is testing the new S60. It simply doesn't make sense what they would let S80 mules be out on the roads eventhough the car has already been presented.

I hope so! Especially if you're in Sweden, not like they need to do further testing there for homologation or local suspension settings or whatever.

The S80 is nice, but maybe a size too large for me. The S60, on the other hand, would be a nice size.
