yep gotta agree..me and my cousine drove to the IAA in his 530i and it doesent take long to adopt to the system.. so i dont know what ppl are bitchin about.. but then again i could understand if some old dude thats never been near a computer finds it hard.. but bad luck for those dudes.. you need to keep up with the technology.. otherwise you are doomed..haha

Ive tried the new command to..i dont find it much easier to use than the i drive..it looks better though..and the menues make a little more sense..
lets say that for me to master the i drive takes 7mins..and the command 4mins..

At the IAA, I tried both I-drive and Command III, both for around 5 minutes and wouldn't say either system was too hard to use! I think Command was slightly easier, and I prefered the graphics on the screen! It seems like these motor journalists run out of things to say, because with BMWs they always seem to say I-Drive was hard to use and the car looks ugly!

BTW, has anyone ever used I-Drive version 1, I heard that is harder to use!

EDIT: I gave artist some Karma as well, he's being nice to BMW for once!

The article was written in August 2005 before the S Class was released. Once he drove the car he was overwhelmed with the power and handling, as well as the technology. All it takes with the S Class is a good road test and one becomes sold...

As long as I am driving my S550...the smile will remain big and wide...
