The Porsche 992 is the eighth generation of the Porsche 911 sports car, which was introduced at the Porsche Experience Center in Los Angeles on 27 November 2018.

I find the rear wing too flat, I wish they would put some kind of side skirts to give it more "volume"/presence.

New 911 Turbo is looking like its going to be epic. Cant wait for it to be launched.

That front bumper design is underwhelming. Maybe it's missing the lower piece that's installed at dealerships when 911's are delivered.

Porsche, please do us a favor and release the press pics now so we can see it in proper light. This is what happens when you take too long to reveal a car (same goes for the big 3).

I prefer the 991.2 from these pics. I’m sure this thing is insanely quick.

It better needs to be! If already a porker like the M8 Competition is able to surpass 991.2 turbo on racetrack ... there is need to step up the game a bit for Porsche ;)

I feel like the new Turbo S will obliterate any supercar in the 1/4 mile, including the 720S. Last one ran 10.4/10.5 already. With the generational shift this will be a high 9 sec car in the 1/4 mile (I know 720S can do similar, but this has AWD and will be way more consistent unlike the latter.)

I'm guessing 10.3 @134 mph. It will have its hands full with a 600 lt (10.4 @ 138 mph) which is also 1.3 seconds quicker to 200 km/h than the 991.2 Turbo S. The 720 s is on another planet performance wise. It's over 10 seconds quicker to 300 km/h and traps in the 140's.

The Sport series hybrid replacement rumoured to have 680 hp will make mince meat out of it since the Turbo S is approaching 3700 pounds now. The Mc will only gained 70 pounds from an already svelte 3189 pounds (including the hybrid system) according to McLaren.
