M3/M4 New M3 CSL for sale

The BMW M3 is a high-performance version of the BMW 3 Series, developed by BMW's in-house motorsport division, BMW M GmbH. M3 models have been produced for every generation of 3 Series since the E30 M3 was introduced in 1986. The BMW M4 is a high-performance version of the BMW 4 Series automobile developed by BMW's motorsport division, BMW M, that has been built since 2014. As part of the renumbering that splits the coupé and convertible variants of the 3 Series into the 4 Series, the M4 replaced those variants of the BMW M3. Official website: BMW M

Dealer Classic Heroes is offering a unique opportunity to buy a ‘new’ unregistered BMW E46 M3 CSL direct from BMW’s own collection in Germany.
The car is a UK spec RHD CSL and was the fourth pre-production CSL model built back in 2003 (the first three examples were destroyed soon after they were built), while the odometer shows just 169 test miles have been covered in the past seven years.
Before BMW sell this car, a comprehensive series of checks will be carried out by BMW Classic workshop to bring the CSL up to full series production specification and then car will be sold with a full two year BMW warranty.
The lucky buyer will be presented with the car in Munich and will also be given a private tour of the BMW Classic Centre and collection before he drives away. A special certificate and presentation plaque will come with the car, confirming the car’s unique history.
More details on this fascinating car can by found at www.classicheroes.co.uk

Oh, nice opportunity for someone driving on the wrong side of the road!

Speak for yourself. :eusa_danc

I must admit that while I'm not a big fan of the inline 6 and it's high pitched scream as it approaches the redline but I must say that few cars behave as sweetly on the track as the CSL does.

Not that I reckon this car will ever be driven in that manner, such a collectible that it is.

I absolutely love the noise this car makes. This and the Golf R32 are of the best noises a car can make.:t-cheers:

Sorry, I didn't explain myself properly here. I do like the sound, only I couldn't live with it all the time, I found the same problem with the boxer engine in Porsches.

I like the M3 GTS (E92), but something makes the M3 CSL (E46) more special.

IMHO, M3 CSL and Z8 are hands down the best BMW's ever built. I wonder if there will be any better.

Why is BMW selling this rare car? This will become a future classic and if I have the money now, I will get it right away.

Just wondering if this car can be purchased and registered now as the CSL's engine is only EURO III compliant if my memory serves me correctly. Many markets now require new cars (i.e. cars that have never been registered before) to be at least EURO IV compliant.

Good price on the last one. Buyers outside of Denmark does not have to pay the horrific taxes...

M3 GTS has not had the time to become a legend. We have to be patient, there's not even a press test or owner yet.

My favorite BMW ever.

I will always remember the day a guy I know took me for a spin in his CSL. We also raced a RS4 that day. :)

Fixed quote ;)

Interesting. But it's technically not a new car, it has just never been sold or driven.

That's my point. It cannot be sold to some markets unless it's EURO IV compliant. A pity.

Does not those rules apply to date of production? Oh, well, that is an academic question as the only country driving on the wrong (yes, footie, the wrong side :D) side is the UK.

BMW M

BMW M GmbH, formerly known as BMW Motorsport GmbH, is a subsidiary of BMW AG that manufactures high-performance luxury cars. BMW M ("M" for "motorsport") was initially created to facilitate BMW's racing program, which was very successful in the 1960s and 1970s. As time passed, BMW M began to supplement BMW's vehicle portfolio with specially modified higher trim models, for which they are now most known by the general public. These M-badged cars traditionally include modified engines, transmissions, suspensions, interior trims, aerodynamics, and exterior modifications to set them apart from their counterparts. All M models are tested and tuned at BMW's private facility at the Nürburgring racing circuit in Germany.
