There are some young automotive designers whose names and work keep popping up on our radar, and all for good reason. Alexander Imnadze is one of them.
After grasping our attention for the first time with this Lamborghini Concept, he followed up with the Ferrari Quattroporte sports sedan and more recently, the Alfa Romeo 6C, and now he is preparing a new, and might we add, very interesting design concept for a modern Jaguar E-Type.
"I have new car design project if you are interested!" Imnadze told us in an email sent much, much earlier this month (yes, we take full responsibility for the delay). The E-Type study is a work in progress, but Alexander wanted to share a preview of the car with us to avoid any copycat accusations in regards to the BMW Pininfarina study
"It's the Jaguar E-Type Concept and it is not finished at this moment but I sent it now because today I saw the BMW concept from Pininfarina and it looks pretty much similar!" Imnadze added.
We say it looks much more promising even in this unfinished phase than the German-Italian collaboration, adding that the overall aesthetics and some design details of the E-Type study do bring in mind the 2011 Bertone B99 Concept.
