Opel creating a new entry-level model to slot below the Adam & Corsa

Could be launched in late 2015 or early 2016

According to a recent report, Opel is developing an entry-level model that will slot below the Adam and Corsa.

Citing sources familiar with the project, Auto Motor und Sport is the reporting the model will be a four-door, four-seater with a base price of less than €10,000 ($13,770 / £8,400). Little else is known about the car but it will reportedly be based on a global platform and be launched in late 2015 or early 2016.

Nothing is official but the publication believes the model is being created to help fill the gap that is being left by Chevrolet's departure from Europe.

The gap between the Adam and the Corsa is big enough to fit another model? Seriously?

^The new entry model shall find his place below and not between Adam and Corsa. Nevertheless your question and your doubts are justified.
