Hi, everyone. My name is Vadim. I'm from the Albany area of NY state. I drive a Brilliant Black 2003 Audi A6 Quattro . It's got a 2.7T motor, running APR 93 octane stage 1 program(upgrading to stage 2+ soon). It has a K&N intake filter. Audi TT diverter valves. A stainless 2.5 inch turboback exhaust, magnaflow sport series mufflers, precats removed, resonator removed, relocated secondary O2 sensors behind the secondary cats, black exhaust tips. Zimmerman vented crossdrilled 12.5 inch rotors upfront, ATE solid 10 inch rotors outback, Pagid street compound pads all around. Bilstein shocks with H&R sport springs all around. Apexi pen style turbo timer. DEFI white Racer boost gauge in psi units. Deringed front grille, debadged trunk(i only left one audi emblem on the car). Tinted. Valentine V1 on my windshield. Winter wheels are Silver 17 inch BBS RC wheels, Summer wheels are 18x8 Lorinser RS1 wheels with the diamond cut face. Eclipse cd8455 headunit, MB Quart speaker amplifier running MB Quart Q series speakers. Diamond Audio DS1200 subwoofer amplifier running the JL Audio 12 inch W7 subwoofer in a ported 3.75 cubic foot enclosure. Everything is run through the Rockford Fosgate 3SIXTY.2 sound processor.

Then I went to Albany, NY to DJ a friend's party(one of many) and found a nice 3 inch deep pothole. Did this:

Got angry, later bought new wheels. These couple are from test fitting the wheels, before lowering it on SUPER skinny tires(i gave those away to my friend)

Lost about 95% of the inside sidewall. I was going about 70mph on the highway in the left lane and it jerked the car slightly and I saw a shower or rubber peices behind me. I think I drove over something and the whole sidewall came out, car's a little on the heavy side and the sidewalls couldnt really take it.

I'm working on getting one or two more of the mesh wheels, powdercoating the centers during winter, probably mango color. Just because, really :) Then the next step is to powdercoat the 17's dark bronze or anthracite, because I am tired of silver wheels and everyone on the roads has silver wheels. After that I'll have 3 nice sets for my car :eusa_danc which will be a shoe whore, just because I can.

Thanks for the photos. Car looks really great. Love the US-version lights and the front without the numberplate.

:) I like posting pics A LOT
Those lights are OEM. I'm thinking of getting all black tails from TMTuning on it. I totally agree about the front plate. In NY state we have to have one. It's supposed to be on the bumper, but I managed to get away with it in my windshield so far. I've managed to bullshit my self out of two tickets for that so far. I'm planning to make a small bracket and put it under one of my fog lights, at bastically nearly-scraping-ground-level. It says the plate has to be on the front, but it doesnt say it has to be a certain height off the ground, only headlights are regulated that way. So let em look at it, 2 inches off the ground. This will actually serve a purpose for me. It's like a "depth gauge" in reverse for me. I plan to lower the car more and it will let me know if i can make it over a bump. If the plate scarapes, the car will scrape. Since i dont give a crap about the plate, it will be scuffed at the bottom, but the car wont be. Ill pull up to a speed bump or something and lsiten, if it makes a scraping sound, the car will scrape, so I'll know to go around. Plates are cheap too, I'd rather get that broken and lose it and order a new one vs a whole bumper and lights.

Hello and welcome to GCF!

Used to own a A6 Avant was a beautiful car:)

I'm loving the BBS rims, not too keen on the current rims on her tho!

Anyway, enjoy the stay and post more pics:t-cheers:

I dont really care about tires, theyre cheap. my car eats my 80kmi tires in like 30kmi. its okay. not a big deal. do you mean the Lorinsers? I think it will look a lot better once i switch to lower springs and tuck the whole tire front and back. kinda VIPish, ya know?

Deffintly needs dropping alittle, not too much tho!

The avant generally sits a lot lower than the saloon, looks awesome:cool:

I am actually looking for two front springs to put in. Im using H&R sport right now. The back it lowered super nice, but the front needs to come down more, so it tucks the same. I'll roll the fenders out of i have to, its not a problem. or just let it rub. It just needs to NOT look like its got reverse rake like it does now. any suggestions?
