Yes? What about it? The RS7 is a very beautiful car, and very loved around the world. And why is it so hard to understand that an Audi is more fun to drive then a BMW. C'mon.

Ok let's leave the looks aside as that's a subjective matter.
The M6GC isn't the most fun to drive BMW but it's still more fun to drive than the RS7. One is RWD the other FWD based AWD. Trust me I don't really care how a car of this class handles or if it's fun to drive but it's how it is.
The same goes for the M5 vs. the RWD E63. The E63 is more fun to drive and that's how it is!

To Tumbo and Minic. Both cars scored exactly the same points in category 'driving fun' (23 points) in this test. Its subjective isnt it since there been other reviews saying M6 is more fun than RS6. Subjective opinion perhaps.

Personally I think steering feel, chassi and engine determine which car is most fun to drive.

It's strange because the BMW wins in the above mentioned categories and is still less fun to drive.
Maybe they think drag-racing is the ultimate fun but what else could you expect from a US magazine :)

Yet another report where the new M6 suffers from body flex...(inexcusable in car costing more than $100K)

Seems all these car have their trade-offs (and these seem to be less than a 5th between each other, which was unheard of in the past.)
You really cannot go wrong with either one. I for one could care less about speeds above 120mph. Try pulling this off a couple of times in the States. Most likely you will lose your license or become a felon (for using your vehicle as weapon depending on the situation.) Big no no!

It`s from the stoplight where we Americans like to roll eyes over our shoulders, rev-up and peel off as fast as possible if the road is clear. If your competition meets you at another stoplight you know you already scored (if you beat him). Just look ahead and smile. Where the Germans ( Europeans ) use these cars as speed tools, here in the US thay are nothing but show pieces 95% of the time. There might be about 5% or less who actually take these cars on the track.

Which is why I decided to back away from the the M6 GC. Way too brutal for the roads where I can't even open up my mere 650i without running out of room. M4 Convertible makes more sense to me now.

I though Scott said its women who drive M convertibles. Do you wear a skirt? lol

Other than looks which is subjective, I can't think of any reason why I would choose the M6-GC over the RS-7.

Strong rear wheel performamce of the m6 gc.
124 trap speed isnt bad at all. Wonder what the lighter M6 coupe with comp pakage would trap
Any one else noticed the ultra short gearing of the rs6/7 up to 4th gear.

I'm a bit shocked that the Audi is posting matching times to the M6GC because its doing 2 shifts by 60mph to the Beemer's 1 shift and 3 shifts by 100mph to the Beemer's 2 shifts.

The RS7 shifts like crazy. Those shifts are super fast...

I think its something like 150ms which I believe is 0.15s, so 0.3s is wasted for 0-60 and 0.45s for 0-100. Oh and regardless of how quick those shifts are they are still slower than a Dual Clutch so not only is it shifting more often its taking longer to do them.

Fast machine.

I m more shocked how the M6 gc pulles despide having mutch longier gear ratios on the rs7 between 100-200kmh.
This m engine Must be really strong. Short gears help a lot on acceleration, more than 1 extra Shift cost extra time.

Looks like the M6 is the Perfect highway bomber for unrestricted german autobahn

^I think you must be forgetting that the M6GC hasn't the burden of driving an extra pair of wheels. When all things are weighed up I reckon its the Audi punching above its weight and is probably has the most underrated output.

M6-GC for me please. IMO, it's currently the best-looking sedan out there by miles. (y)

Had to add that ;)

I love the M6 GC really much. It's BMW's best designed sedan ever.

But I want to add that the front, front/side of the RS7, is to me, the best Audi design!

I think the Audi RS7 definitely has an edge on the BMW M6 with the front end. The lenses are more aggressive and simply better looking imo. (The only element I don`t like are those sensors in the air dams. I could still live with it though)

Well no and yes, on the other Hand the m5/6 still have tractioncontroll who kicks in Even above 100kmh, due to the Problem of rear wheel traction. But this issue is sorted above 150kmh.

Underrated outputs are easy to achieve on all this biturbo cars, and the most potential goes normaly for the biggest displacement witch in this case goes to the amg engine... The question is more witch engine had factory specs or witch one was above

^I can't comment on traction issues with the M6GC but as it appears to have got off the line as well as its AWD competitors I'd said on this occasion at least traction wasn't an issue either up to 100km/h or above, but obviously lack of AWD is an advantage that's been proven countless times and that's why I reckon the RS7 on this occasion is the more impressive.

Oh man, you two. Stop the fanboy talk. Who gives a shit how they manage to pull those numbers. They are pretty much even in acceleration and it aint going to be a final decision which car to choose. Not many owners are going to explore these numbers in real life so the discussion is pointless.
