Re: New Audi A4 Avant spy pics.

We will already know what its going to look like. Sedan and Wagons in most cases look the same.

Re: New Audi A4 Avant spy pics.

I don't know, but somehow those rearlights don't look like those on the sedan...:eusa_thin I might be wrong of course...

Re: New Audi A4 Avant spy pics.

Enlarge the spy pic.

The tail light shape seen through the camo tape looks identical to the one of A4 sedan. Yet the graphics seem to be different (no white strip seen) - but could be camoed as well.

Please Audi don't make the lights the same with the sedan. I can't stand EnI preaching again countless times how Audi is "same sausage different lengths" and the same old stuff all over again...:t-banghea

The B7 also had identical tail lights for the Sedan and Avant.
3er touring has slightly different rear light design which I personally like much more than the sedan's design. C-Class Estate on the other hand should have got different lights... :t-banghea

Re: New Audi A4 Avant spy pics.

Looks just like the B7 Avant, nothing radical.

Now that the new Audi A4 has been launched we can look forward to the Avant wagon version being revealed in just under twelve month’s time. Audi will be going with a sportier profile than in previous versions, with the key difference being a less steeped tailgate and a sloping profile at the rear. The front of the car will undoubtedly share the same face as the sedan, while the character line along its flanks will stretch out to newly shaped taillights at the rear.

The engine lineup will remain the same as the sedan, which means a range of FSI petrol and TDI diesel units with output ranging from 143hp (105kW) to 340hp (253kW), the latter figure being that of the potent S4. Transmission choices will include a conventional six-speed manual, a tiptronic auto and Audi’s multitronic CVT unit but it’s thought a DSG option will be available by the time the Avant is launched late next year.

Audi

Audi AG is a German automotive manufacturer of luxury vehicles headquartered in Ingolstadt, Bavaria, Germany. A subsidiary of the Volkswagen Group, the company’s origins date back to the early 20th century and the initial enterprises (Horch and the Audiwerke) founded by engineer August Horch (1868–1951). Two other manufacturers (DKW and Wanderer) also contributed to the foundation of Auto Union in 1932. The modern Audi era began in the 1960s, when Volkswagen acquired Auto Union from Daimler-Benz, and merged it with NSU Motorenwerke in 1969.
