Hi read it at the new "Auto-Catalogue" from AMS. The Arnage will get a 6 speed automatic and the Arnage T then doing 288 km/h. This car will be really great!

This has got to be very bad for Maybach -- DCX seriously underestimated their competitors in this segment ...it must really piss them off -- they likely don't view this as a MM vs RR vs Bentley/Bugatti/Lamborghini battle -- this battle is really about who is most prestigious of the German corporates DCX vs BMW vs VAG .....DCX have always lead the pack with Mercedes-Benz and they hate the fact that both BMW and VAG are stealing the limelight at the top end of the market -- the Maybach is purely the product of big egos -- just like the VW Phaeton.

It is the same car...only with 6 speed automatic (and 500 bhp, 1000 NM) instead of a 4 speed...

Well, these cars usually have much longer life span than other cars.

The Arnage was launched in 1998 ..so it is getting very close to the end of it's production life ..I expect we will start seeing spy shots of it's successor very soon.

Well, its predecessor was originally launched in 1980 unless I'm mistaken... of course such a long product cycle is a thing of the past, but the Arnage is hardly past its sell-by date.
