Now that I have thought about it it can't be something that won't make us jump out of our chairs since Scotty is referring to it as "mysterious". M6 CSL does seem like the candidate.

What it could be, and what I think is most likely:

1. E90 3er sedan (spy shots suggest a close to finished product)

2. E93 3er cabrio (spyshots reveal the whole car now, with almost no taping)

3. E91 3er Touring (unlikely, since there are no spy shots yet)

4. M6 CSL (rumored for a long time, featuring this special edition Neiman Marcus hood)

5. M1 concept

6. X6 concept

If I remember correctly, we were hinted at the M6-CSL, so that's where my money is. Unless of course X6 and X6M are unveiled at the same time...I highly doubt.

M6CSL it is...or my second guess would be M3 sedan, but I think thats coming next year.

M5 manual already is on sale.
For about a year.


And if we are going to see the M3 sedan/cabrio next year for the first time, than this mystery model will most likely be a CSL version of the M6....
....or a CS version of the M5; The M5 getting different ECU settings and stuff, maybe make it a 5.2 liter V10, give it 580 hp, maybe less weight (CF roof?)

Bye bye sales of future RS6.

I'm sure sedan will debut together with 3er LCI in 2008.

So, either M3 cabrio, or M6 CSL.

M6 CSL: no recent pics from Ring testings, so I doubt ... Maybe as a concept. Most likely.

M3 E93 cabrio: a bit too early. I guess the PR will come after coupe's market launch in September. Sometimes in November, December - for March launch.



I was told this "mysterious" car will debut (=mentioned in a PR) the new M-DCT gearbox.
