My pictures (+short report) from 2007 Helsinki Motor Show

Ehh, you saw a Gumpert? I envy you...

Yeh, if I would have known there was a Gumpert in the show I probably would've expected it to be on a high stand surrounded by fences but instead it was on a small barely noticeable stand without any fences. :usa7uh:

Taxes in Finland must be insane. 303 000 euro for a GT2 is madness. Here in Sweden it cost 190 000 euro

Well, we do have the oldest cars in EU-15 on average. After the turn of the year the car taxation will be based on CO2 emissions so there will be many price changes. Most cars will see price reductions, some BMW and Mercedes diesel models will be even 8000-11000 euros cheaper. On the other hand the expensive sportcars will have even more salty price. A couple of examples from the higher end Mercedes lineup:

CLS 63 AMG
Now: 159.000 euros
1.1.2008: 196.000 euros

CL 65 AMG
now: 340.000 euros
1.1.2008: 430.000 euros

SLR McLaren
Now: 704.000 euros
1.1.2008: 870.000 euros

Nice that Porsche over there in Finland has some humor and seated a big bear in the 997TT.

He he ...that is Finnish humour eh ;)

He's a cute big bear though -- I wonder what his name is? ....probably not Mohamed I bet :eusa_doh: ;)

Which camera do you use by the way? :t-cheers:

I used my Canon Digital Ixus 800 IS. :usa7uh: I'm quite satified with it but of course I'm dreaming about owning a DSLR.

Don't know his/her name but I'm sure his/her political/religious view is neutral. ;)

The bears name is Pekka!

Holy crap, that like twice as much as what those cars will cost here in Sweden next year.

Sorry for the delay. :eusa_doh: Here are the pictures I meant to post yesterday. :usa7uh:

I'm sorry her eyes are closed in this picture. Didn't notice it until it was too late... She wasn't on the stand anymore. :crying6cc

These twin sisters aren't models but professional beach volley players. They are sponsored by Audi, that's why they were at the show.
