My new ride: 2011 Nissan Maxima 3.5Sv

Sure its not a 2010???

I have a 2010 White on Black Premium Edition with Pano roof, and all the goodies stickering for just under $40k that I picked up for my wife... Lovely car...

As far as I know the only 11's Nissan has got out is the GT-R and Versa...

I'm positive it's an 2011. If, by any chance, it's a 10' model... I'll be getting ready for a big-a$$ sue to the dealer. :D

Imo, the 2012 will be the updated one with face-lift. Mine one cost around $35K & I'm yet to find the 1st thing I hate about her!

Congrats mate, I have always had an interest in the Maxima you get over in America, I reckon they look good, and they go hard. It is certainly a million times more interesting than the other cars in its class. Too bad we don't get this version in Australia.

Congrats.

I had the previous gen Maxima, and it treated me very well, and even kept me and my friend safe after I totaled it when it spun out on a twisty and sandy road.

Not sure about the new models, but the used ones are an incredible bargain, if I would have waited a bit, I would have bought one instead of my DD Chevy Malibu (which is a great car in its own right, but no Maxima).

My old Maxima had 265 HP I believe, and even that was almost uncontrollable at hard throttle off the line, lots of torque going to those front wheel/s. The Maxima could really fulfill its true potential by going RWD.

I will say though, after driving the new Altima's, and the new Sentra, I can't stand the CVT tranny. Unrefined and gives me a headache when driving at low speeds.
