Needless to say, I am just over the moon so happy. Found my perfect peach after years of casually browsing used ads.

It’s just as I wanted. Le Mans blue, M pack, manual and non iDrive with mechanical steering (the facelift came with electric steering). And decently specced otherwise, all while being in *mint* condition.

So happy:

Wonderful spec. And the NA N52 to top it off, congrats mate!

I desire an E90/E91 in that exact spec, Le Mans (or Montego Blue), M Sport, LCI, single hump, etc.

Thanks mate. Only thing I really miss is an oil temperature meter, which is just really weird to not put on such a car. Now I have to guess when the engine is at temperature before I can properly rev it. Usually I drive for 10 km and then just assume it's cool (or warm in this case).

Also still have the E90 facelift manual 320d single hump.

Germans love to leave that out on cars for some reason. I had to enable it with a scan tool on my A4, it was there just hidden for customers idk why

Congratulations, for me the best hothatch ever made, in the best color. :t-cheers:

My neighbor drives a white 3door with the MPP Exhaust, this exhaust is pure perfection.(y)

When german cars really stood above the competition. I always had a soft spot for the RWD 1-series, and it still looks good!

Congratulations mate! Enjoy in good health.

Congratulations @klier for finding such a mint example ! Your car looks almost brand new inside and out.

Wishing you many happy miles and enjoy the drive straight to @LaArtist.

Glad to see the love remains stronger than most marriages.

Car looks fantastic @klier. Congrats! Peak BMW - NA I6, manual, RWD, hydraulic steering, practical. Enjoy!

Not a big thing, but you might want to get it checked for carbon build up on the valves/ports. The soot in the exhaust is a tell tale.

Now THAT is a car! Massive congrats and many happy, safe and fuss-free kilometers. Enjoy!!!

Yeah I noticed that. Because I just cleaned them to a shine, and it's already dirty like a diesel after some spirited driving....

Anyways all you guys...... thanks a bunch.

Yeah it's most definitely eternal. But who can blame me with such a hot man?

The first and most important changes I am going to make:

- big brake kit, preferably Brembo

- Completely new adjustable suspension

- LSD, probably Quaife but I need to do some research there.

I know a guy that fitted a Quaife LSD to his 130i, ended up going from 245's at the back to 225's since the car then had 'too much grip'.

I have to check but I think the normal rear tires are 225 on the 130i?

245s is what they put on an X5

This is not a DI therefore Carbon built up is not a big deal, especially compared to the N53 and N54.

The exhaust pipes look like this on all N52 engined cars.

The first thing I would change is the exhaust. The difference between MPP and stock is huge.

Yeah things like an exhaust and air intake I am going to change. Those will add 10 hp to the engine, maybe 15 hp. If I can get the car to around 93 hp per liter, I am a happy camper.
But that will be the next thing after the 3 essentials I just mentioned. Somewhere next year maybe.

Maybe, IIRC he had the 130i LE with the BBS wheels from the E90 320si. On my E90 they're 255 at the back but I know they were narrower than that on the E81.
