My new Audi Q5 3.2 Quattro S-tronic

Stop somewhere far and go walking. It is fun watching those Landcruisers get wrecked :D

Hehe yeah I know.

Speaking of Land Cruisers, I was racing the top - 362hp V8 VX-R 2011 version the other day. I smoked him, and it was soooo fun, because they really think that that car is the best on this planet, hehe. Same goes for the overrated Lexus LX-570 and the Nissan Patrol. Both got 400hp, but still the 270hp Q5 kicks their ass :)

^ Because a Land Cruiser or Nissan Patrol is about twice as big and heavy as a Q5 ;)

But damn nice bro! Great looking Q5, and just stunning pics!!!
What are you doing in the middle east if I may ask? I thought you lived in Sweden man....

Not really twice as big, but yeah they are heavier, and of course much more powerful. Just to compare:

Land Cruiser V8 5.7 - 381hp - 2600kg - 0-100km/h 7,8 seconds
Nissan Patrol V8 - 400hp - 2785kg - 0-100km/h 7,4 seconds
Lexus LX-570 V8 - 383hp - 2719kg - 0-100km/h 7,0 seconds
Q5 3.2 Quattro - 270hp - 1720kg - 0-100km/h 6,8 seconds
Q7 4.2 Quattro - 350hp - 2410kg - 0-100km/h 7,2 seconds

But damn nice bro! Great looking Q5, and just stunning pics!!!
Thanx! Couldnt love the car any more. If there will come a Q5S, I will defenitely upgrade myself! Would love to have the 3.0T in this thing!

Well, had to finish my sports career in 2009, after two foot surgeries, and became a coeach in Sweden, which lead me to coeach the junior national team for Qatar, which I am doing now!

I thought that weight figure was a typo, until I looked it up myself. Good lord the Q7 is a heavy rhino.

According to Audi they are looking to lose upward on 650lbs on the next one. Much needed if you ask me, though it's a great big bus to drive.

A question to the ones that know this.
Would it be hard/expencive to turbocharg / put a kompressor in this 3.2 engine?

Soon,very soon.

2013 I believe for the SQ5, though rumor has it that an RSQ5 will also appear regardless of their denials as this pic shows.

Number plates with the prefix HN means quattroGmbH, unless they are doing the development work for the S version then this can only mean an RS verison is being considered for production.

I believe it when they say there be would no rs version for the Q5,and I'm hoping they don't doit as well. I wouldn't be surprised to see the Q5S debut in Geneva,or shortly after.

It would be very unusual for the prefix HN to be on an Audi that isn't part of a quattroGmbH development programme. One thing that I don't believe will happen is a Q5 using an engine larger than the 3.0TFSI.

I understand what you're saying about the plates, but there have with been mules photographed with quad pipes, and IN plates. If and when the car does come I also expect a 3.0t under the hood.

but there have been mules photographed with quad pipes, and IN plates.

That makes the case even stronger for what I am saying, IN prefix (Audi) also testing with quad pipes suggest the SQ5 is close to launch where as HN prefix (Quattro) also running quad pipes instead of oval pipes which usually happen nearer final testing means an RSQ5 is further off.

Unless the HN prefix car is in fact the Cajun as Audi now undertake all SUV development work for the entire group including Porsche.

My gurus have spoken: It's not easy to turbocharge the 3.2 engine and it's done only by a few individuals throughout Europe and the results are not worth the money spent. On the other hand, there are various tuning companies that supercharge (ie. compressor) this engine with a very good outcome. If I recall correctly, they mentioned MTM as an example.

I hope I helped :)
