My new Audi Q5 3.2 Quattro S-tronic

I have now decided to upgrade to the S-line rear bumper aswell. It's gonna look like this:

WIll keep you updated!

While the S-line rear bumper is on the way, I have been looking around for a different exhaust. Not a whole exhaust system, cause it would cost way to much to get it shipped here to Doha from the US.
So I talked to Magnaflow in the US, and came up with a cheaper solution, but it will look and "almost" sound as good.

I ordered their end muffler optimized to fit the Q5, among other cars:

And to that, I added a 2.5"/4.5" end tip.

Can't wait for the stuff to get here :)

I actually changed my mind, and canceled the end mufflers from Magnaflow.
Reason? This baby, a full non-resonated stainless steel 2.5" performance exhaust system from AWE:

They actually got a video of it, and it's gonna sound like this:

Yeap, better than just exhaust tips :D

I've actually never heard of AWE Tuning, but this exhaust seems quite nice!

Well, I've checked around online for some time, and they seem to be a really good and trusted company over in the US.
They also has a "Resonated" exhaust system, which as they explain the difference between the Non-Resonated and Resonated: "
Our Non-Resonated Edition produces an aggressive, yet civilized sound volume. Our Resonated Edition creates a volume just a touch louder than stock.
"

So, "Non Resonated" it is :) Car is gonna look soooo sweet with the S-line package and that exhaust and those 20" RS6 rims. Thank you Santa :D

Out of curiosity, how big are the stock mufflers compared to these?
Well, the AWE rear muffler looks like this:

And I took a pic of my stock rear muffler the other day and it looks like this:

So when it comes to size, they look little rounder then the stock exhaust, and probably weight like 50% less

Back from the workshop with the S-line bumper installed! :)

Comments and opinions are welcomed :)

I think it looks great! Now just waiting for the custom made AWE Tuning exhaust system :)

^ Very nice, discreet and un-aftermarket but still markedly sportier:cool:

EDIT: Didn't realise it wasn't aftermarket, its slightly different to the picture at the top of this page?

It's the same S-line bumper, but I wanted the plastic around the mesh to be black, and not painted in silver, to have more sportier look :)

Excellent. It's always entertaining to see how nicely & neatly you do your cars. Keep up the good work mate. (y)

Appreciate the nice words. I am always looking for the clean, but yet sporty look.
Next up is the AWE Tuning exhaust system that gives +10hp, and after that I'm going to take a trip to ATP Dubai, that have a ECU upgrade for the Q5 3.2 that gives +25hp. So in the end, I'm gonna end up on 305-310hp, and that will be perfect! :)

The differences are small, but I prefer the S-Line bumpers, they give the car a more sporty look.
And that is exactly what I'm going for. Clean and sporty. Plus, the original front bumper was just horrible and lame. Now the car is really looking like something sporty :)

Do you think the price of the S-Line is justified, Tumbo?
Do you mean when you buy a non S-line Audi, and want to upgrade it to the S-line exterior later?

Or do you mean if paying the additional cost for the S-line when you buy a new Audi?

To be honest, I didn't expect two different price policies. I guess, I should ask you about the first option, as it's what you did.

:)
