For once it's not a Volvo but I think it's because V90 recently replaced the V70. Golf is the new leader.

Last time it was not a Volvo in Sweden was in 1962, more than 50 years ago. Number 1 back then was the VW Kafer.

But still, 1 out of 5 Swedes drives a Volvo, making the brand own the Swedish market with more than 22% marketshare. VW is second with around 15%.
