Well, I just picked up my new car today from Premier Subaru in Branford, CT. It's a Newport Blue Pearl Impreza 2.5i 5-door with a 5-speed manual. This is my first stick shift, and I must say, it's a great time to drive. This car is so much fun to drive. It's a base model, yes, but I'm having a great time with it. I don't have any interior pictures yet; I'll hopefully get some tomorrow.

Nice choice mate. Subarus have always been great handling cars and they are extremely practicle so they are great for daily use. The only issue I have with them is their engine seems to be using more engine oil than other engines.

What are your thoughts of the exterior design and the interior quality of your car?

Thanks to all. I'm really loving this car... it feels so tiny compared to my Buick. This car, and the grille especially, look a lot better when you're in person. Meanwhile, driving is so much fun now :). I've grabbed a few pictures of the interior, so here we go. Sorry for the mismatched floormats; I'm using ones from an older car until I can get some rubber mats for the winter so I don't ruin my Ivory (tan) interior.

^^Nice car, my friend. Before I bought my 99 A4, I looked into getting this Impreza. The only problem was my financial situation wouldn't allow me to get something with that price. It's not that I'm broke, but I need to save money for college. Either way, that right there is exactly what I'd have gotten too. I love the blue, but I might have chosen the black.

Have fun driving this car man.

Nope, she totalled herself. Air conditioner compressor went on us, and it costs $1,500 to repair. The car itself is only worth $1,200. And then the compressor started throwing sparks all about the engine bay... so we're gonna donate it to charity and they'll make money on it somehow.

Congrats for the new car ZB...

I will also be joining the Japanese car owner club soon as i 'm getting a 2008 Nissan X-Trail or a 2008 Mitsubishi Outlander for my wife.:D

Also don't forget our new site...

Waiting for everyone's contribution there as well.:usa7uh:

My auntie just got a impreza 1.5r and for such a small engine size it makes a nice sound:D and the ride comfort its absolutely amazing.

Btw did the exhaust come with a cover that goes around it???? because on pics on the internet they do but on yours and my aunties they don't.

Have Fun!:t-cheers:

Congrats Zetableh! Great choice - how awesomely comfy is the ride from that double wishbone rear suspension? I think it's excellent for a car that handles so sweetly.

Welcome to the Subaru owners' club of enlightment.

Many safe and fun miles!

The double wishbone is amazing. The ride is wonderful and the car corners very nicely at pretty high speeds. As for the tailpipe cover, that's a $40 extra, if you'd believe that.
