Dam those Lambo really scream and shout about being there! Esspecially that LP-670:bowdown:

Stupid driving done by the Masterati driver towards the end followed by the Rolls Royce Phantom with an unhealthy amount of blue smoke.

I hope you don't mind me posting my videos here Luw.

So I went to check it out last night. A little disappointed since not all the cars made it to the finish line. I guess you could quit whenever you want. I got to see a Veyron for the first time, so I guess it was worth it.

When I arrived there was only about three cars, but most of the cars started arriving after 8. Everything was fine until the NYPD decided to not allow drivers to rev their engines because they were afraid little kids in the crowd might get scared. :(

It was a mess at the end when the space they had barricaded was filled and cars were still coming. I just left after that since I didn't know where the arriving cars were going.

Anyway, here are my videos since I can't take any good pictures. Sorry about the short videos. I don't have the software to merge them all into one.

(Some of the videos are still uploading)

The entry fee was £30,000 but at the price of £12,000 there was an option to just participate in the European leg

You're got to be kidding me? Can't believe they were thinking about the children? Children love engines being revved, if they don't then their parent can easily remove them from the area. Here in London engines were being revved merilessly with cars even putting rubber down on the road

I see the turbulence didn't stop anyone from attending. It seems once again, the NYPD toned down another rally.

What did you think of the Veyron? Probably one of the rarest sightings in the city.

Man, you should have came.

Loved the Veyron of course. So much presence and loved how its low and planted to the ground. It would be a pain in the @$$ driving it around here :D.

It was definitely the star of the event (along with the Murcie revving behind it until they told him to stop). People were walking in front of it to snap pics the minute it turned onto 43rd ST. from 6th Ave.
You know who it belongs to? It had TX plates. Now I don't have to go to CT to see one :usa7uh:.

I wanted to see the SLR SM, but I guess the owner didn't wanna drive it all the way here without a roof or a windshield LOL. Chatted a little with the Emarati SLR convertible driver. A lot of the drivers were asking each other how many tickets they racked up.

Loved the F430 Spyder Ambulance... fully equipped with lights and sirens

It must have been fun, but I'm glad I didn't attend. It's definitely not my type of event, way too hectic for my taste. The Veyron, SV, and the SLR really made the show didn't they?

Tomorrow I leave for Monte Carlo, I'm tired of being in the city.
