Quick update. Car is going to my tuner to get the last mod removed on friday. Just got the exhaust left I have removed everything else myself.

Next big update will be on the 18th or 19th sept.

Its VAG, its 4wd, and it will be quicker than the 360hp k1, once Ive tuned it.

Its also white!

Golf R, S3, S4? I can't think of anything else that is AWD and ideal for tuning!

Thanks, I will have a 4 hour drive on the day I get to collect it, so it will be an early start for me that day. However im really looking forward to it, to have a one last long drive in the K1, and then a nice long drive home in the RS.

I have big plans thats for sure. I havent even driven a TTRS yet, but from what Ive been told from other owners and the videos from youtube I think this car might be around for a long time.

Its a Borg Warner k16 iirc.

Well my aim is 500HP, I think I can get there if I sent the stock turbo to a specialist and they uprate the bearings and fins etc, so a hybrid k16!

I just want a car thats quicker than stock GTRs and 997turbos.

And reliability?..don't stretch it too far with tuning if u are planning to keep that car for long.

I break it, I uprate it

Audi ran this engine up to 700hp during development actually, and the stock block is really strong. There are two other people I know who want more than 500hp, so they will be guinea pigs to find out how strong the car is.

440HP should be achieved with a remap and exhaust. The I need to do intercooler and intake and see what I have. Then hybrid the turbo and im hoping for 500+. This engines fuelling system shares some parts to that of the RS6 and v10 R8 so im hoping I wont need to do any additional fuelling mods. Still early days though in TTRS tuning!
