Drove by Audi and checked out...well...an Audi. :eusa_danc

The Q7 was pretty hot. Have not seen any on the roads yet, but it's a good-looking SUV. The funny thing is that it does't look like an SUV but appears to me as more of an estate car with a raised suspension. But this makes the Q7 look very dynamic and sporty IMO. The BMW X5 and Mercedes ML appear higher in stature and more SUV like.

This hotty was equipped with the best engine of the bunch, the 3.0 TDI. Screw the 4.2 V8. :D

The same Q7 on a rainy day next to an A4. While the Q7 doesn't really appear that huge by itself, seeing it next to a little A4 really shows you how big it really is!

Oh, and here are some pictures of the inside of the Audi dealership. My dad and I checked out the A6 3.0 TDI as a potential new family car, but in the end he decided that he was happy with the E-Class and buying a new car is a waste of money with the heavy depreciations these days, especially in the first year. Most of the showroom cars were TDI cars. The silver A6 sedan you see is a simple FWD 2.7 TDI while the black A6 Avant next to it is a Quattro-equipped 3.0 TDI. Enjoy.

Used 2.7 TDI 6-speed but no Quattro (FWD instead)

Never liked the TT, but this one looks much better than the new one IMO. I positioned my camera to include a nice background, as I was aiming for a wallpaper shot.

Wow, a Volkswagen Sharan with nice rims! Most of the ones here have plastic hubcaps!

Land Rover Discovery, for BMWDave!

Very nice. Thank you for the wonderful pictures.

I really like the Audi cabrio that is pictured in your thraed.

Oh and the interior of the dealership is very relaxing and pleasing to say the least.

Thanks. :)

It's a nice place. I took like the A4 Cabrio, but if I had to pick a car here, it would be the A3 2.0 TDI with the S-Line sports package. :bowdown:

I saw the Q7 at Greenwich... and I noticed that I (5'10") was too tall for the tailgate! I would smack my head everytime if I didn't duck.

no offence to Audi fans but the Q7 is still atrocious....maybe its just the wheels on that one

I saw both the Q7 and the R-Class.

I was impressed by the Q7, but was even more impressed by the R-Class. It didn't look at all as bad as in the pictures; in real life, it exudes a domineering stance and I like it a lot. A little like a sporty SUV, if you will... Definitely much more like a wagon than a full-scale SUV like the Q7.

The front of the Q7 looks amazingly aggressive but the side and rear make it look like an estate car which kinda puts me off.

Wimmer, when are we going to see an E class facelift test drive??

Thank you for the nice pictures Wimmer.

Front = Excellent
Side = Hmm a bit like a station wagon really...not good.
Back = Atrocious

That pic next the A4 clearly shows that it looks exacty like a mutated avant on big wheels.

I agree! I've seen a couple of Q7's on the road and everytime I see one, I think Audi Allroad. I do like the front of it the most. The back I can get over it, but the side is just awkward. And what's up with the HUGE side mirrors?

Chris, I thought you had a chance to drive one. It would've been nice to read what you gotta say about it and compare it to the ML. Oh well, maybe next time :usa7uh:

Audi

Audi AG is a German automotive manufacturer of luxury vehicles headquartered in Ingolstadt, Bavaria, Germany. A subsidiary of the Volkswagen Group, the company’s origins date back to the early 20th century and the initial enterprises (Horch and the Audiwerke) founded by engineer August Horch (1868–1951). Two other manufacturers (DKW and Wanderer) also contributed to the foundation of Auto Union in 1932. The modern Audi era began in the 1960s, when Volkswagen acquired Auto Union from Daimler-Benz, and merged it with NSU Motorenwerke in 1969.
