Vs MT H2H: BMW M5 vs Porsche Panamera GTS

The W212 actually is apparently the first M-B of a different size to engage in "platform sharing" with another model. I remember reading reports where M-B said they wanted to test it out and afterward gave it the greenlight for future models. The E Coupe IS actually on the C-Chassis, completely identical, but the W212's is "based" on the W204's. The W212 is on a modified chassis that first was introduced on the W204, but not an identical chassis (obviously, as they're different sizes). - Right answer

As for the Ghost. What I'd like to know is if there are any IMPROVEMENTS to the chassis than the F01. I.e is it stiffer? Stronger? Better material build? More balanced? Etc. The F01 has a great chassis, but for $300+K I'd want "my" Ghost to have either a completely bespoke platform (I mean, much less than $300K should be enough to buy that privilege), or at the very least an extensively improved F01 chassis (which it very well may be?).

Yes again as Ghost = improved 760iL chassis.

Sorry K/A you're going to have to prove that one, because I see nothing that says the W212 is based W204. Please provide a link about that, otherwise it is all just guesswork. What you just stated doesn't even make sense.

Look at Ghost or drive the car, then tell you me that you see anything resembling the 5-Series. Clearl you mind of all this platform nonsense and look at the car on its own merit. If you do that, you will see that the Ghost is a true luxury car, not some tarted up 5-Series as you seem to think it is. I'm telling you that you're way off on this one because there is nothing second rate about the Ghost and again until someone told you that it was based on another car or or chassis you wouldn't know it standing next to one. What difference does a bespoke chassis make when you 99 percent of the people buying can't tell the difference or even know about such things? Don't you see you're letting the whole chassis/platform thing run amok in our head? GO examine the Ghost yourself.
