S-Class (W126) Modern classics: the Mercedes-Benz S-Class of the W 126 series

Post number 27 has been selected as best answered.

The Mercedes-Benz W126 is the second generation S-Class. Body styles: standard W126, long V126, and coupé C126. Predecessor: Mercedes-Benz W116. Production: 1979-1991. Successor: Mercedes-Benz W140.
The quality of the photos (image) and the current text and graphics make it seem like it's a test drive of a car that was unveiled yesterday.

The W126 560SEL 6.0 should have been the first mass-produced AMG Mercedes S-Class.
It looks great in the AMG Sport package IMO.

The W126 still is a very stylish car that I think bridges the gap between modern and older Mercedes S-classes the best. It is a legendary car and one of the best Mercedes ever built.
