I watched the video again and indeed my ears tricked me; the car doesn't have a salvage title, but it is without a doubt the most neglected SL 55 AMG in the world.

Now think of it, I think I had a gas station conversation with Tavarish in NJ a couple of years ago when I had my CL. He was a big MB guy then as well.

I were to see him in his SL, I'd tell him to restore the oxidized headlights. Something cheap that's often overlooked, as it freshens the look of any older vehicle.

Someone did this on MBworld years ago, if my memory is correct; ended up being an expensive disaster and it ruined the driving dynamics.

Being that it's been a basement bargain for him so far maybe he could find a solution
