Mercedes Present Futuristic myCOMAND Infotainment System At Los Angeles Auto Show

nice video the new command loooks very good and that interior i just love it especaily the quality looks fantastic..thanks tycoon

I hope the new E Coupe gets that level of interior quality, but somehow I doubt it. A leather wrapped dash will likely only come with the 550/500 version. That wood is a question too.

Interior looks absolutely fantastic. If only that leather and wood combination made production!

How far off is this Command?

That interior, although wearing good quality (leather bounded stuff for just a CLK?) looks kinda retarded imo.. don't attack me but that screen really looks awkward, the whole shape of the surrounding is much much worse than the double hump.. and there will still be so many buttons on the centre with this myCommand system?

I agree. It looks quite nasty in the photos but perhaps (and I hope) it will look better in real life. :eusa_pray

Quality looks very good though.

Looks very Ipod'ish. I think its pretty awesome......sorry guys, Im lazy to read through the press release but does it feature a touch screen interface?

Mot sure either but that would be real handy and even more intuitive than having only that 'knob' to control/select menus. Especially considering the numerous menus/submenus it will have

I don't think it would be handy at all. The sceen is not in the right position for a touchscreen. It would be hard to reach.

Yeah,it'd be a hassle everytime trying to touch it,too far for that:D

I really don't like the design of the graphics. Looks interesting but.

myCOMMAND - iDrive. I like the use of pronouns by each company.

Not sure about the whole internet usage within the car. I'd be quite annoyed if the net dropped out and my navigation ceased to work and I was in a rush...
