I suspect that a good many elements of the design will bear the Gorden Wagener signature.
If so im suspecting the W224 will have a body like this ‘Iconic Rote Sau’ but with a front end similar to ‘Vision iconic’ ?🤔

Less Rote Sau and more Iconic hopefully. I doubt we will see too much of a departure from the current model. That is not the S Class style and, frankly, I like it. I do hope the S Class EV and the S Class ICE do not differ from one another like the C Class EV and the current C Class Ice do in the body proportions and measurements. And, I hope they bring back the S Coupe! Or, a long rumored but never materialized, a S Class Four-Dour Coupe? I doubt how many folks are left in the market for that kind of product, but one can always dream.

I would expect the C53 to be shown at the same time or a few months after. CLE/GLC/C/E 63 all come next year imo. The C and GLC 63 are going to pop out no where I’m betting. Shock and awe style.

"Reduction and Commingling" are a sign of the times. Once popular (hence lucrative) market segments rapidly diminishing in significance and a clear objective of reducing and thus streamlining fundamental model categories. Premium and luxury brands also offer explicit "individualization" options-provided that a customer is willing to pay the often exorbitant surcharge.

Also interesting is how this illustrates how "evolutionary" M-B's design paradigm can be. Save, of course, the outliers such as the first-gen EQ sedans.

Mercedes to reintroduce buttons – but stick with big screens

Mercedes-Benz will stick with large touchscreens in future vehicles as a way of showcasing their digital craftsmanship, according to the firm’s sales boss – but the company has listened to customers and will now always offer physical controls for key functions.

Meh. The minimum amount of buttons to be able to say “see? We hear you guys”.

BS!
