And yet, the absence of excessive shutlines, excessively partitioned, vertically clefted sideglass graphics, A-pillar bases pushed far forwards and afterthought trimpieces make this a far more visually appealing proposition than the EQE/EQS sedans could ever be. The socalled "prestige clearance" is not generous, but it is "sufficient" IMHO. Solid piece of design, the only question remaining is how the "iconic" grill-shield blends with the rest of the design.![]()
This particular shot in particular is super questionable though, very EQ vibes mixed with CLA.
Somehow, I've managed to simply dismiss the MMA CLA from my mind and now perceive the C-Class EQ sedan as "the proper" entry level M-B sedan. A bit of a "W114/115 moment" actually. Even if it's not a "Strich Acht" or "E".
