This particular shot in particular is super questionable though, very EQ vibes mixed with CLA.

And yet, the absence of excessive shutlines, excessively partitioned, vertically clefted sideglass graphics, A-pillar bases pushed far forwards and afterthought trimpieces make this a far more visually appealing proposition than the EQE/EQS sedans could ever be. The socalled "prestige clearance" is not generous, but it is "sufficient" IMHO. Solid piece of design, the only question remaining is how the "iconic" grill-shield blends with the rest of the design.

Somehow, I've managed to simply dismiss the MMA CLA from my mind and now perceive the C-Class EQ sedan as "the proper" entry level M-B sedan. A bit of a "W114/115 moment" actually. Even if it's not a "Strich Acht" or "E".

Its looking very smart indeed, loving the surfacing changes on the back haunches and the short front and rear overhangs. The rear end slope seems less than when the cars were covered up, Cant wait to see the headlights and iconic grill and also the tail lights. This is the deciding factor in the overall verdict of its styling.

If this looks as good as the GLC, then good for us, because people will have two very good looking choices in the C EQ and i3. Only took them like 6 years, and Audi is still missing from the party…

Been wondering…Will the C53 have the same body as the C63 FL? or the C63 FL will be wider?

Remember seeing this other prototype of a W206 C63 but with wider rear arches this other time

Saw it in the showroom today. It looks nice, and it’s surprisingly big. I still prefer the old GLB’s front end though, other than that it’s far superior in pretty much every aspect. Taillights also looked very cool, but wish they didn’t have those 2 tiny stars. They looked so out of place.
The seats and overall materials looked really good as well, but I just hated that surfboard screen. It looked so odd imo. The interior space was great, and the build quality was good, but not the best thing I’ve ever experienced. There are still some cheap feeling stuff throughout the cabin, but I would say it’s much more solid compared to the other models.
And FYI, all the GLB EV’s were sold out. They all come in AMG flavor with 19” wheels. Range is around 590km.

That greenhouse is downright horrible. Looks like a Ford Mondeo or something economy like it. Model 3 comes to mind too with that caricature shape.
Frankly just as bad as the CLA

Will sell gangbusters though, and will together with the GLC EV pout MB squarely back on the EV map in Europe.

Agreed, so much EQ vibes. I’ll wait for the official pics to further comment on the design, but I feel like it’s not as good looking as people think it is, lol.

Probably. People loved both GLB and CLA in Turkiye, so this will be no different. I don’t see the new CLA that much though, just seen it 2 or 3 times.
