SL 63 AMG 4matic+ with approximately 650 hp + 23 hp (M177 Evo V8 twin-turbo)

The E-Performance model being discontinued due to lack of demand?! If this happens, I won't be too sad... I wonder if they have a different setup taking its place.

That front render is a joke and looks terrible. I personally dont think they will give the SL the EQ moustache, it will kill any sales in the already slow SL sales market.

BTW the SL 63 E-Performance could be the car to buy as a collector now that its killed off. Probably 1000 or less available worldwide will make it a collectors item in the next 20 years.

I don’t think they will give it an EQ face, that would look absolutely terrible. I will try to render something for the facelift based on the spy shots.

Looks like E-Class EQ is getting the same screen from the GLC.

Overall design is also very similar to the C-Class EQ, where headlight and grille shape looks almost identical. I don’t know how I feel about that tbh.

My hunch is that bodymetal surfacing will be very similar (flanks, wheelarch sheetmetal and the dialogue between concave and convex surfaces, hood, the visual flow of the lower body into the bases of the roof architecture pillars). Also perhaps the angle of the hood's descent forwards toward the grill/shield. I suspect that the 2 1/2 box theme will be more pronounced on the E, a bit less "Sportbackish" than what is seen on the C.. We should almost certainly see an iteration of the front and rear lighting units seen on the C-Class EQ sedan. Of course, that neo-retro radiator grill/shield will remain. And the E-Class EQ sedan will probably be an approx. 5000mm long vehicle. Relatively predictable, I suppose.

The E EV better have the same screen as the GLC EV, not the cheaper one like the VLE, GLB, CLA. I can't understand why the VLE doesn't have the upscale version.

I was hoping the E Ev would have less screen and more traditional but yeah the spy shows same screen

It's unclear whether the production version of the CLE 63 AMG S 4matic+ will also have 660 hp.

What is clear is that the CLE 63 AMG 4matic Mythos Series is slated to receive 660 hp.

I do think Mercedes ripped off their clients with this cars powertrain. It should have had the GT63 Pro version of the V8 with 612PS/850Nm and not the same spec as the SL63 base.

Lets hope that the CLE Mythos will really have 650HP or 660PS.
