It clearly sounds like a Crossplane, may be the rumored 4.7L.

It clearly sounds Turbocharged.
Dunno. The flat plane was for EU7 compliance. Would they even be able to get a 4.7L cross plane to be EU7 compliant?

They did have a patent for altering the exhaust pulses from a flat plane to match those of a cross plane with some messing around with headers.

Yes of course, the 4L Porsche Crossplane (EA825) can reach EU7 as well, same like the 4.4L BMW S68.

EU7 is reachable with a Crossplane, that’s no problem at all.

Just heard the World premiere for the all new electric C-Class will be April 20th anyone can confirme it?

Thing is the S68 has had to be detuned in the M5 in Europe to maintain compliance. Not sure about the EA825 for Audi and Porsche. But the new RS6 is allegedly going to be a V6 Hybrid.... I guess we'll see.

I don't doubt it's possible, but the extra displacement would make it tough, I guess? Could be a 4.7L flat plane maybe?

Where is that winged CLE63? It's a Mythos car I believe? So many models I can't keep up.

That really is a lazy render and they just too the fugly rear light band from the EQA and added some stars in the graphics. It looks virtually the same as a EQA from the back.

That's what I thought too. But I didn't do the rendering😜

There...Google Translator makes the article accessable to non-German speakers/readers. I've become far too lazy to perform the task myself for the benefit of the forum community.

"Today, while having my winter tires changed, I sat in an iX3 and a GLC (both dealerships are conveniently located almost next door to each other).

The difference in perceived quality between the two is truly striking. The iX3 (which had leather seats and was quite well-equipped) felt incredibly cheap in some parts and just plain odd in others. Why did they use that fabric on the dashboard, not to mention the fabric in the headliner—it's anything but pleasant to the touch. The center console is a cluttered mess. And that's not even mentioning the cheap piano black finish on the central lighting unit.

The trapezoidal display in the BMW is only easier to reach when the steering wheel is in its lowest position, right next to the dashboard; otherwise, you have to lean forward a bit, just like in the GLC."

Dare I say that I am becoming increasingly optimistic regarding the upcoming C-Class EQ sedan ?

And as far as the C236 CLE goes: all the more handsome with the organically flared wheelarch surfaces. But it could be better...without those tacky front fender airducts and less stylistically "old school" doorhandles.
Same with me, each new pic that comes out even of a covered car seems to show the basic shape, which appears alot cleaner and attractive than those initial covered cars. I think if the front grill and headlight details come out good and the shape of the rear with the tail light graphics are less notchback then it could be a great looking saloon.

The only thing I am not so over enthusiastic about of the design of the CLE is the tail light graphics. I hope they include some decent changes with stars and it will appear more modern and attractive to look at.

LOL !

I find the CLE's taillamps far more attractive than the more current "star element" versions.

My favorite current M-B taillamps ? Those presented on the AMG C192 GT.
