Not that we’re downplaying BMW’s achievements or anything…But what’s the hype about the M3 Touring 24H? it’s just like the M4 GT3 EVO but in a wagon form since well…the rear is not fuctional?

Anyone please correct me if i’m wrong.

I mean it'd be the same as any racecar based on a hatchback. Cage in the back, no rear seats, and as much weight removed as physically possible.
Its probably just a bit heavier than an M4 GT3. Maybe the extra weight over the rear might help weight balance? Who knows.

Because of the BOP they could develop a luxury Racecar.

If it’s 2ton, you can in that case put a 800hp engine in it.

Interior of course with all luxury items, with the exception of the carbon bucket seat with HANS and a fire extinguisher.

The race driver could listen to Verdi or Puccini on the Döttinger Höhe, thanks to the big soundsystem with 24 speakers.

We’ll see…i see so many people are downplaying Mercedes on how it’s not doing cool stuff like that as if that car is gonna be for sale to anybody, it’s a one-off

I think it will be track only, but some design cues might end up on the next Black Series (if there will be one of course).

Was it a problem when you used to have different displacement engines and power outputs for both petrol and diesel?

I think the Track Sport will be part of the Black Series range. Besides, when they first teased the car, it had road-going tyres. As @AbsoluteUnit said, I'm betting on a limited series based on the next generation of GT racing cars. In any case, we'll find out more on 26 March.
