Hot! Mercedes-Benz, What's Next?

It reminds me of the EQ cars too much, but I’ll wait to see it. We must be close.

Certainly similarities. However, the positioning of the A-pillar bases and a more traditional hood/hoodline make it more "acceptable" than the odd "clamshell+ugly shutline" EQE/EQS sedans IMHO. More attractive sideglass graphics as well.

Errr. It could easily pass as an EQE from this angle.

It reminds me of the BMW 3- and 5-series Gran Turismo models. I was not a fan with the bloated whale, crossover look, and so far I am not a fan of this either.

I hope this is now what they intend to do to the E and S Class models. I was told to expect an identical design between ICE and EV.

Judging by the renders, I can say that the proportions look quite pleasing to the eye. We'll need to see the details to form a definitive opinion, especially the rear. Connecting it to EQE is ridiculous. Please don't do that.

Similar, for certain. But then again different, to the benefit of the C-Class EQ sedan.
Yeah I dunno. Doesn't look similar at all to my eye, anyway.
The rounded C pillar window line softens that region a bit too much, which might give that impression. Doesn't look outright bad. Just not that good. At least from the rear 3/4.

Overall it’s just mid, and from that angle it really resembles an EQE or EQS, which is not a good thing. Still too soft and rounded at the back.

The C EQ has some very interesting looking surface changes on the top and middle of the doors and rear haunches that make it less slab sided than the EQE. The front fenders are hugely improved and have some nice flares above the wheel arches and no awkward and ugly looking triangular panels. The bonnet surfacing reminds me of older Mercedes models and hopefully the classic grill as like GLC will enhance the frontal styling.
